A central Phoenix office for the whole Valley

Palm Lane is a short drive from the freeways that tie the Valley together. Tempe and Glendale are roughly 15–20 minutes away without traffic, Scottsdale about 20, and Mesa about 25. Chandler and Gilbert run closer to half an hour. Rush hour on I-10 and the US-60 can double those times, which is one more reason many clients begin by phone.

The Maricopa County Superior Court’s downtown buildings on Jefferson Street (including 101 and 201 W Jefferson) are a few minutes south of our office. The court also operates regional facilities around the Valley, including in Mesa, Surprise, Avondale and Glendale.

How Arizona injury law works, in plain terms

Deadline. Arizona gives most injury claims two years from the date of injury (A.R.S. § 12-542), half the general Utah period. Claims against a city, county or the state require a formal notice of claim within 180 days and a lawsuit within one year (A.R.S. § 12-821.01). Wrongful death claims also generally carry two years.

Shared fault. Arizona uses pure comparative fault (A.R.S. § 12-2505). Your own share of fault reduces your recovery, but it does not bar the claim, even if you were mostly at fault. That is very different from Utah’s 50% bar, and it changes how we evaluate cases where fault is disputed.

At-fault insurance. Arizona is not a no-fault state. The at-fault driver’s liability insurance is usually the first source of payment, and your own uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage can matter a great deal when that policy is too small.

Who you’ll work with

Every Now Injury Law office works the same way: a named case manager, a standing response window, and bilingual support. Our Arizona clients deal with the same team structure, the same standard of communication, and the same promise as our Utah clients: you’ll get an answer today, you’ll be connected with treatment, and you’ll see the math on every offer before you decide.

Not sure whether you have a case? Describe what happened, and we will tell you honestly, even when the answer is no.

Questions

Frequently asked

I was partly at fault. Do I still have a case in Arizona?

Possibly. Under pure comparative fault your recovery is reduced by your percentage of fault, but it isn’t eliminated. We look at the evidence before anyone assigns a number.

How fast do I need to act?

Usually within two years, and within 180 days if a government vehicle or property is involved. Call early. Evidence like video footage is often overwritten within days or weeks.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. We offer bilingual support in every state we serve.
